Born in Sonoma County and raised on the California hunter/jumper circuit, Jacquelyn Kuba (Jak) has been in horses her entire life.  Put on a horse before she could walk, she never really dismounted except for a 4 year stint at San Diego State University where she earned a degree in Political Science and Communications. After returning to Northern California, she ran a successful tack shop for 6 years before joining the team at Sonoma Horse Park.  At SHP, Jak was in charge of both the boarding facility, which houses almost 200 horses year round, and the horse shows.  In addition to her tenure as operations manager for the 70+ acre boarding and horse show facility, she also acted as Technical Coordinator for the shows, running the most successful years of horse shows the facility had seen since its inception.  Jak's biggest strength for being successful in this business is a genuine love of the horse.  Always striving for better care, higher standards, and a happy horse is what sets her apart in managing equestrian facilities of any size.
